Food Combinations 061013

This is the weekly food combinations segment for our blog. Every week I will reveal one combination that I find tasty. It is a combination that is delicious by itself as a snack but will also make a recipe one of your favorites. This segment is now on Mondays.

The two joining forces this week are the peanut and raisins. Often the base of a good granola mix these two are fine together. They give the traditional sweet and salty one-two punch although I prefer my peanuts roasted and unsalted. There is also the crunch factor countered by the soft raisin. Plus they are good for you.
