It has been some time since I had done one of these food combinations posts but today's leftovers inspired me. I took some ham from Easter and black beans left over from Saturday's dinner and put them together for my lunch today. They went together very well!
The ham wasn't dry but the black beans did add an extra moisture that meshes well. Of all the beans this is my favorite tasting. Ham is something that both my finicky girls can also agree on. Yet their taste buds haven't developed an appreciation for the black beans yet.
